<p>The women's Konseal GTX from Arcteryx is a waterproof approach shoe that shows its robustness when the terrain is rough, the pack is heavy and the route to the wall is the first challenge. With its snug Precision Fit that hugs the foot tightly and offers a secure hold, it is ideal for technical approaches, easy climbing passages, via ferratas and rough terrain with scree and rock.</p> <p>Thanks to the waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex&reg; membrane technology, it won't buckle even in changeable mountain weather.</p> <p>Its upper made from robust nubuck leather makes the shoe durable, while its tongue construction with particularly breathable material ensures a comfortable, ventilated feel - made for demanding mountain days with plenty of vertical meters. A circumferential abrasion-resistant protective edge and carbon fiber reinforcement in the midsole provide additional stability. The compressed EVA midsole offers comfortable cushioning on long distances without sacrificing precision.</p> <p>Particularly clever: the Vibram&reg; XS Flash 2 outsole combines a friction zone in the toe area - ideal for rock contact and easy climbing sections - with a non-slip profile on the heel for a secure grip on descents.
