The Bascula Adaptive System in the sole combines hard and soft elements for targeted grip, sure-footedness and effective cushioning - whether on scree, rock or snowfields.</p> <p>The upper material made from highly abrasion-resistant, water-repellent fabric is complemented by an all-round scree protection rubber coating and can withstand the stresses and strains of rough terrain. The integrated Sock-Fit XT upper adapts to the foot like a sock and prevents pressure points, while the finely adjustable lacing with two-component hooks enables a precise fit.</p> <p>Thanks to the Vibram&reg; Mont outsole with climbing zone, the shoe is equally sure-footed on wet rocks and slimmer ledges.
