Orton Splitboard Boots

<p>The K2 Orton splitboard boot started with an idea and was brought to life through a collaboration with K2 Snowboarding Team Rider Sage Kotsenburg. The innovative construction made from a one-piece rubber bottom with integrated mesh ensures that the Orton is not only waterproof, but also warm and dry - all day long. The dual-zone BOA&reg; lacing system makes the boot versatile and adaptable for feet of all shapes and sizes.</p> <p>Sage Kotsenburg spent over 100 days developing and perfecting this boot. The Orton underwent intense testing by K2 staff, athletes, backcountry guides and film crew to set a new standard. For excellent bootpack performance, we opted for V5 Vibram&reg; rubber on the outsole. The injected Marshmallow&trade; midsole and Marshmallow&trade; Pro insole provide ultimate cushioning and vibration absorption.</p> <p>For the best possible fit, we chose the durable Performance liner and a heat-moldable Tri-Density Intuition&reg; lining. A Ripstop-Agym lace cover with gaiter hooks keeps the snow out and completes the design.
