Description

The Nimsdai Mutant 90 backpack was developed by Osprey together with the Nepalese mountaineer Nirmal "Nims" Purja MBE for the first winter ascent of K2. From this alone, you can see that the backpack will also serve you well on demanding mountain routes and expeditions.

The focus is, therefore, on an ultra-stable carrying system, robust construction, lightweight and features tailored to mountaineering.

The straps and back plate are made from water-repellent foam to prevent snow from collecting. Thanks to the ergonomic shape and the beautifully slimmer packsack, the backpack and thus the weight lie compactly on the back for optimal load distribution.

The Nimsdai Mutant 90 backpack comes with plenty of mountain-specific features. For example, you can fix your ice tools very securely, and the foam-reinforced front pocket has room for your crampons. Under the removable lid, you'll find a rope attachment; you can hang all kinds of gear in the loops on the hip belt and attach your helmet.

In all of this, the Nimsdai Mutant 90 backpack places value on a sustainably made and highly robust outer material with excellent workmanship. If you're looking for a large-volume backpack for demanding ascents and expeditions, you've come to the right place.
